Ca Marcanda 'Vistamare', Gaja, Italy

A beautifully balanced wine, showing a ripe fruit expression with notes of stone fruits (white peach & apricot), honey & a peculiar floral character (blossom & jasmine).  The finish is sweet & fresh at the same time.  Both varieties ferment separately, Vermentino in steel vats & Viognier in wood for 6 months before being blended.
