This wine has a beautiful rich scarlet colour with an alluring nose of black & red fruits, cherries, coffee, leather & cloves.  A good natural intensity with well integrated tannins & good acidity – this is a rich, warm, concentrated vintage showing an abundance of fruit, energy & considerable finesse.  Mature & balanced with a long finish.  In oak for 1 year, 2 yrs in cement vats, 4 yrs in bottle - the winemaker suggests a 6-hour decanting time!
